So I am trying to study God’s word, but I am not perfect and I often fail.

A while ago I got a huge ring binder and tried to write something on one chapter per day on one A4 sheet- but the binder is big and bulky and hard when travelling. So this is a new attempt. One post per chapter – possibly even per day but at least per week! That will depend on how much God wants to challenge me.

In each post I will:

• attempt to summarize the chapter in 3-4 sentences.
• work out which verse spoke to me the most – and maybe even why.
• ask three or four questions for myself, and now you I suppose to wonder about throughout the day (week, month, year) – I will not be attempting to answer them here.
• I may cross-reference to other passages,
• I may mention what other scholars and commentaries have talked about in relation to the chapter.
